MySQL when starting automatically checks all tables to ensure they are in a good state. Occasionally one of the tables may experience issues and provide the following as an email to the root user.
error : Table upgrade required. Please do “REPAIR TABLE `tlb_name`” to fix it!
To resolve this issue you need to simply listed to the error message and run the REPAIR TABLE command from the mysql shell.
REPAIR TABLE ‘table_name’ EXTENDED;
Restart the MySQL server and you should be good to go.
